Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Pep developer handles information for Pep, a local-first iPhone app for protocol tracking.

Pep is designed to keep protocol records on your device. The current app does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, cloud sync, or a public account system.

Information You Enter

Pep may store protocol names, selected compounds, dose schedules, dose logs, skipped-dose decisions, sites, side-effect notes, general notes, vial details, reminders, local email text entered during onboarding, and app settings.

This information is stored in the app's on-device database unless you choose to export or share it using system share tools.

HealthKit

If you grant permission, Pep can read supported Apple Health data, including body mass, height, resting heart rate, blood glucose, biological sex, and date of birth where available.

Pep uses HealthKit data to keep your private protocol log and trends current. Pep does not sell HealthKit data, use it for advertising, or use it for marketing.

The current app does not write peptide dose records to HealthKit. If you explicitly save a body weight measurement, the app configuration may request permission related to writing body weight measurements.

Local Notifications

Pep can schedule local reminder notifications on your device. Reminder scheduling uses Apple platform notification services and stores reminder settings in the app database.

Dose and protocol data stay in the app database unless you export or share them.

Exports, Backups, and Deletion

Pep lets you export records as CSV or JSON, create local backup files, restore from a local backup, and delete local app data from the app.

Exports are created as temporary app files and handed to the native share or save sheet so you choose the destination.

Purchases

Pep may use Apple in-app purchases and RevenueCat to manage purchase status and subscription entitlements.

Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, entitlement status, price, renewal status, and related transaction information. Pep does not receive your full payment card details.

No Advertising or Analytics SDKs

The current build is not designed around advertising. It does not include ad networks or third-party analytics SDKs.

If this changes in a future version, this policy and App Store privacy details should be updated before release.

Medical Disclaimer

Pep is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, dosing guidance, or emergency support.

Confirm protocol decisions, dosing, side effects, and missed-dose guidance with a licensed clinician.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Pep changes. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
